Bradda Francis is a 100% Hawaiian man. He has the heart of Hawaii and perhaps a little piece of Elvis's soul since he discovered the King's music at the age of four. Although he can sing in many styles (aka the Hawaiian Elvis), Bradda Francis has his own very recognizable voice.
Bradda Francis has received two Hawaii Music Awards for "Best Paniolo CD of the Year" in 2003 for Second Thoughts and in 2005 with Paniolo Ghostriders. PANILOLO is Hawaiian country music brought by the Spanish and American cowboys when Hawaii was still a Monarchy.
As with most Hawaiian families there were endless jam sessions at the beach with family and friends learning the old songs and styles which personify the musical heritage that is Hawaii. Along with traditional Hawaiian music mainland artists such as Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Conway Twitty, Ray Charles, The Platters and Smokey Robinson all contributed to the shaping of Bradda Francis's unique musical style and songwriting skill. Also he can sing in seven different languages.
